Difference in cost between motor building?

Would their be any difference in price between parts and labor If say i got a 305 or a 350 rebuilt? Would the 350 be cheapers because their are more parts?

Price is probably about the same, except you have no 350 core so you might get hit with a core charge.

pretty much any small block costs the same to rebuild.

both a 305 or 350 would need a gasket set, all bearings, possible machine work, pistons, assembly, and other odd and ends, so there really shouldnt be a cost difference IF the 305 and 350 are in the same condition( damaged rods, turnign the crank, deep cylinder wall marks, etc would make the price go up)

believe it or not the 305 although not by much, costs more to rebuild because the parts are slightly more expensive. Still in the same ballpark though.

how much would I be looking to spend to have a cast 350 shortblock? My motor is almost trashed..
