Gotta love the sound of a big block!

Got the 70 SS396 delivered today and it has a great lopey idle to it. I didn't really get to drive it more than just around the corner into the garage but the motor sure seems to run good. The clutch is real stiff so that will be a challenge and I think the car has 3.07 gears so that will be a pain to deal with. I'll try to get some more pictures of it tomorrow if it stops raining long enough.

why are 3.07 gears a pain?

congrats

Congrats Jeff, cant wait to see this beast! God I love the sound a 396 makes...

Those are more of a highway type gear ratio and it's a little tougher on the clutch to get the car moving. The car originally came with 3.55 gears and I want to find a correct rear eventually.

Leave the airplane gears in there and go 200 MPH! :)

yeah 3.07s with a BB and 4speed sounds like alot of fun
