July Car Meet: Rose Garden Nursing Home
 

Ok, if anyone recalls a month or so ago, a guy came into my work asking me about the club here, and how he hosts a big car show down in Toms river. Well, he just called me and gave me the info.

It will be at the Rose Garden Nursing Home in Toms River
Date: July 23rd, 2006
Time: 11am to 3pm

Directions is Parkway South to 70 west. then get onto New Hamshiere Rd for 2.9 miles, and then it will turn into Old Freehold Rd. The old age home will be on the right.

So who wants to go? Im gunna see if I can get the 72 up and running very soon and make it down there. Cars will range from 1925 to Present. Free food and drinks. The guy who contacted me is the owner of the place, and has several nice cars. He will be brining his 71 or 72 Monte Carlo SS 454. There will also be trophies handed out to the cars. I think this would be a cool thing for some of us to hang out.

I will be in the outer banks that week, I think. If not Ill definitely make it!

maybe you can find an old blind woman that your russian ass actually has a shot at. if yer lucky she will still have money left to give you in her will. :p

my car might be a little too loud for some of the older folk:D

i think thats cool they have it at a nursing home, i bet the people actually really appreciate it. i don't have a car to show but ill see if i can show up anyhow.

There will be another car club, the New Jersey Antique Car Assoc. there as well, with there early cars. He said some Dusenburgs, Caddy's and Rolls Royce's will be there. I think it will be a fun event!! He wants some muscle there as well, so lets flex!!

douchy? um..do u work in one of these places? have you ever heard them yell for no god damn reason? how about throw **** at you instead of eating it? Few days ago a girl was giving them snacks (which happened to be ice cream) so the old fart chugged it a her and said she didnt want that flavor... If it was chugged at me it would end up on her head.

wow I definitely wouldnt have pictured that...more power to ya, I really dont know if I could do that. My grandmother lives with us and I really cant stand it anymore. Its really ****** for me to say that but she is VERY demanding and needy, I cant deal with that ****.

I should be there. That's the day after I get back from my first week in NC.

July 16-22 Tim and I will be in Montreat (about 20 minutes from Asheville) with the church youth group.

July 28-Aug. 5 I'll be in OBX with my girlfriend and her family

Where in the outer banks? Ill be in Waves about 35 mins south of Kitty Hawk and 35 mins north of Hatteras.
