Yaple Motorsports update
 

i haven't mentioned the dirt car in a while so i figured i would fill everyone in.
the motor is basically a POS, so randy has a borrowed motor in the car for now. it isn't a great motor, but better than what was in there.
new motor was run for the first time at the wingate memorial race wednesday night. first time all year randy has spent any time passing people. he went from 11th starting to 5th in 5 laps and was on the 4th place cars bumper coming to the white flag. then some more bad luck.
lower radiator hose blew off, soaked the ignition and shut the motor off. somewhere along the lines the pin that holds the brake pads in came out, possibly from the pads coming apart, and took out the left front caliper too.
the car is back together and ready to go for tomorrow.

I'm still hoping that they will learn to spell his name right one of these days.

Can't wait to see if the car is still a rocketship this Saturday :)
