WayFast84 07-04-2006 11:43 PM

its so I can have a carb that will work on a mild 350 when i eventually get one, Im getting a harness for 10 bucks so the car runs again, Im still looking for a carb though.

JSPERFORMANCE 07-05-2006 08:53 AM

$200

WayFast84 07-05-2006 04:00 PM

no thanks

JSPERFORMANCE 07-05-2006 10:20 PM

Thats right, I forgot you need big dollar parts on a McDonalds budget. $200 is way too much to spend on a $800 carb.

 Why are you getting so mad? Its not like Im trying to talk you down or anything. Im looking for a carb in the 50-70 $ range I know its possible.

bad64chevelle 07-06-2006 10:29 AM

I may have an old Holley 650 layin around out in the garage. It came off the car working, so it would just need to be cleaned up. Let me find it and get the #s off of it so I can double check its a 650.

WayFast84 07-16-2006 11:13 PM

TT or a 750 it doesnt matter, I would like it to be in good condition, so I wont have to rebuild it.

also maybe a non computer controlled distributer

I know you aren't looking for anything fancy, but I paid $250 for my 750 DP after it had been rebuilt. You don't want to spend $50 on a carb that has been sitting for ages, because chances are the gaskets will be dried up and it won't work right.

Gonna have to spend a bit more up front to save yourself a headache.
