airbag and inspection
 

the 91Z i just bought is over due on the inspection. does it matter that the car originaly had an airbag but its been removed and a grant aftermerket steering wheel is in there? i know i gotta get the tint off the windshield and ill try just rollin up on a nice day with the side windows rolled down and maybe they wont check

I bet they will check the windows. I went with my convertible and they made my put the top up to check the back window. I would think they would notice the air bag. Isn't there a light on the dash for the air bag status?

i may be able to get you the stock airbag and wheel, lemme talk to the original owner this weekend(the owner before the guy you bought it from) im pretty sure he still has it and maybe some other stock parts.

I do not think they would catch the airbag.

yes there is a light on the dash, INFT RSNT er sumthin, and will it fail if the air bag isnt there? ill take it to a private place n leave the windows tinted too if it does

do you have a horn hook up? That's more important than the air bag.

My air bags arent hooked up... the drivers one is only there for ooks... an I have the air bag light on, they didnt mention it any of the 5 times I went thru inspection lol.
