NASCAR blows. Its nice that they have alot of money and produce alot of technology for us, but woopdy doo about going around in circles really fast...

i wanna see those real racers get behind a wheel of WRC car and do some rallying, or maybe some F1 action. You're right about one thing tho, they will go straight...into a tree or a wall.

dude its not just circles.

You think the cars are going straight down the track and into the turn, If you think its drving around in circles your mistakn, that cars slide around back and fourth at 180mph with walls and cars sorrounding them.

and a verry demanding sport. and a sport that can get you killed

watching nascar is like watching turds getting flashed down the toilet. no fun. ive seen all the nascar excitment, i lived in daytona and my apartment was a mile away from the track, and the airport, ive seen all the "big shots" in their private jets come thru our lobby and all the stupid photguys and everything they had to show and i was unimpressed.

I agree. Sure, they may only drive in circles (save the Glen and Infineon) but they bash into each other quite routinely. No other motorsport does that nearly as much. That's why (IMO) any open wheel drivers who cross over are in for a big surprise.

Truex Jr. is also one of my favs. He is also one who is funny as hell over the radio.

ever seen a wrc race? when a guy wrecks his car , get out flips it over and continues? or pushes his car over the finish line with his hands? pretty much anything to finish a stage.

I used to be really big into it....not as much time to follow now. I'm a Jimmie Johnson / Tony Stewart fan now. Used to be a Gordon fan but he's become too much of a whiner for me. Jr. is always a crowd favorite and I have no problems with him but his father was a far superior driver.

As for whether or not it's a sport...that's up to the individual. If they show poker and darts on ESPN than hell yeah NASCAR is a sport. It does take skill and a lot of guts...not much in the way of conditioning but I say yes it's a sport.

hell yeah it does, do you know hot it gets in those cars? how bad the turns are? especially wrecks.

120ish degrees, cars pull 2gs in a turn...hmmm doesnt seem that bad too me.
