guaging interest in laptops for tunning/dataloging
 

i have an opertunity to get about 20-30 older dell laptops.ranging in speeds from
200-400mhz.most have 64-128mb ram,cdrom/floppy.all will have power supplies and various extras(external drives etc)
all are in working order but all have some sort of defect i.e lid latches that dont lock,scratches,might need a good battery.
so before i say yeah and get them all how many of u guys would possible buy some for tunning and data loging
say for around 75-150 depending on what model/specs?

i definitely want one

I could use one if it had an internal 56K+ internal modem. ( has to be phone line, not DSL ).

i belive they all have modems and network cards,if nto all of them some do,and ones without them u can buy them for like 5$ from ebay

there would definately be interest in stuff like that. make sure you let the people on LS1tech know too, there are a lot of people looking for cheap tuning laptops over there

tim can u post up for me plz,im not a member there.i need to get about 20 ppl who deff want them before i will go ahead and buy all the laptops.dont wanna buy 20-30 of them and get stuck with 20 of them lol

i'd be interested in a tuning capable laptop
