East Coast F-Body Nationals - August 20th
 

hey gang,
i jsut wanted to put up a reminder here about our second anniversary meet coming up at island dragway in a few weeks. we have a great car show and plenty of racing action planned. check out the east coast nats forum for all the details and be sure to tell your friends.
we had a blast last year with around 100 cars participating, we plan to see even more this year. if you only make it to one club meet this year, this is the don not miss event.

no dyno this year. the deposit they require wasn't something we could afford.

damn it timmay, im upset now

then buy t-shirts or donate to the club. that way we will be able to afford it next year. :p

come up with a cool design and ill buy one at the nats :razz:

Since I am coming back from Florida sunday morning.... are you allowing non f body's there?

Is the track exclusively rented out ONLY to f body's that day... or can someone show up in a non f body car... run time trials... not in the event?

time trials and the competitve racing are for f-bodies only.

wheres island dragway? my mom will love it, ill be back from oki for less then 10hrs before i take off for an all day event.

Well, lets keep our fingers crossed. Weather channel predicts thunderstorms on the 20th, but still too early to call.

It actually did sprinkle just a touch for Tim and I on our way to the track last year.

I just checked weather underground, and they are saying mid 80's and partly cloudy. Wouldn't that be nice...

I am going to try to make it. Dont know if it will happen or not.

i looked at weather on 4 different sites. as of now they are all saying mid 80's(high around 84) and mostly sunny!!!!!
it is going to be a beautiful day, so no one has any excuse to not show up.
