Soooooo Melanie is going to buy her dream F-body tonight. Mustang will be up on Autotrader tomorrow as I pick up my new 02 Trans Am, Silver with Charcoal interior. 7500 miles baby!

Wish me luck! Waiting to hear back from the dealer any moment now!!

LuvMyF8LWS6 08-07-2006 03:26 PM

No WS6, but with a few mods, it can be! I can save a few bucks! But forever, I've looked for a silver one with black interior!!!

WayFast84 08-07-2006 03:29 PM

silver ws6 rock!!

baddest434 08-07-2006 03:58 PM

good luck must feel like winning the lottery to get a f-body for a mustang!
although i saw a new saleen the other day that gave me a rise in my levis!! that thing was sweet.

LuvMyF8LWS6 08-07-2006 04:01 PM

I've won a lot of shows with my Mustang, not to mention, I've had it for 5 years, and spent 5 years of my own sweat and blood into it, but no matter what I do, my Trans Am has always been faster. I think it's time I stop wasting money into it, and just get another TA!

(did I just say that? wow!)

baddest434 08-07-2006 04:10 PM

don't get me wrong i like mustangs but no where as much as an f-body.
i almost bought a stang till i got inside one of those things. they are small and tight inside no room for anything not that f-bods are much better.

Tru2Chevy 08-07-2006 04:14 PM

I hear ya on that one. My gf has an '04 GT vert, and they were not made for tall folks like myself (6'4"). The doorhandle is behind my knee, and my other knee hits the steering column. The rearview mirror is also directly in my line of site out of the windshield.

Well luckily for me, I am short, so the Mustang has always fit me well. But hey, I'm a Trans Am chick too. I'm leaving now. Lets hope this all works out! Later guys!

Smart move. Even if performance was equal, pre-retro (that sounds wierd) stangs are about as sporty as Cobalts IMO.

firehawk1120 08-07-2006 08:29 PM

well i guess it went well 4 1/2 hours later and she's still not on here posting about how awesome the car is compared to the stang... LOL

Good luck with it.

Fast92RS 08-07-2006 08:32 PM

Girls and F-bodys are always a winning combination........8-)

Brando56894 08-07-2006 08:37 PM

:werd: i had to take a ride with my parents down to southern VA (7 hours from south jersey) back seats of a mustang FTL!! even the ride up to rutgers in it killed me

So the dealer wouldn't come down from 23K. Like hell I am paying that much for an 02 Trans Am. I was willing to pay 20500, but no budge. So the Mustang remains. It's alrite, I have enough cars. However, if anyone sees a silver TA with black interior, let me know!

would he take your mustang as a trade in??? if so, se how much he would take off the price for it...

LuvMyF8LWS6 08-08-2006 07:59 AM

Yeah but I'd lose a ton for that car. I have to sell it privately

GP99GT 08-08-2006 08:13 AM

keep it a T/A...dont clone a WS6

79CamaroDiva 08-08-2006 10:18 AM

so, wait.. im confused.. in your sig it says 2002 WS6... is that the car you HAD or HAVE now and you were getting another one??

JL8Jeff 08-08-2006 10:23 AM

23K! I don't care what the mileage is, it's still a 5 year old car!

LS1Hawk 08-08-2006 11:29 AM

That's what I said. The sales manager said "This is a rare car" Rare my ass! It's just a plain Trans Am. Nothing special. It just holds special meaning to me! Silver does it for me. 'ol white doesn't cut it!
