That Is the coolest concept car Ive ever seen!! It sorta looks like a merc.

Makes me think that chevy might make a bel air concept or something 8)

Eh... it makes me think of hot rod kit cars. I'm not crazy about the pre-60's styles, but can appreciate other people's feelings of nostalgia towards them. I'm not sure how well it would do here when you can already order a fiberglass kit car in a crate.

Yeah, I think they wanted to go after the Ford Thunderbird, but then decided against it...and we all know how the T-Bird is doing now. The car did have a pretty cool looking interior though.

The Bel Air concept was more about showing GM's flexability with its new midsized truck chassis. The Bel Air was built off the GMT-355 chassis, same that is used for the Colorado and Canyon pick ups. It had a 5cyl turbo motor in it, and it was said that GM could produce a high style car cheaply using this method. I didnt get that great press, and it was canned.
