This is great news since my sisters Lexus just went in for warranty repairs on a faulty rear shock, a failed component in the front steering system, broken radio component, and a recall. :barf: shes currently rocking the pimp-ass saturn 8) btw- her car is an 05 and just rolled 22k. this is her 3rd time bringing in the car for warranty claims. and for the record, she does not drive like me so thats not an excuse  |
too little, too late, lol....but it would have got me a motor for my ss under factory warranty....(instead of just 5k from my extended warrany)
my gf just bought an 06 eclipse... 10yr/100,000 mile powertain warranty. when GM gets to that, then i'll think about purchasing GM new again. |

old news for us duramax owners, 6 years/100k warranty on powertrain and all engine related electronics :) WOOOO HOOO DIESELS!!

This is true....till they see the Bank's stickers.....
Mitsu and Hyundai's massive 10/100k warranty is very vague and I would be very surprised to see what is actualy coverd under that. I would say rust and powertrain will be the only thing coverd. What would be nice is to see Caddy go Free Maint for the first 4 years, just like BMW. Saab does it, Caddy needs to join. Like Chris Farley said in Tommy Boy "I can crap in a box for you, and mark it with a warranty if you'd like, I can do it, I have free time." or something to that effect. Warranties make people feel better about what they are buying, and they are there to reasure the consumer that they will be protected. Id like to see 4/50k on all GM cars and trucks, 5/60k on Buick, Caddy and Saab, as well as Free Maint for Caddy. |
gm should give me free optisparks and window motors...

its funny i just went ot my gmcard website & read about it...they are usually a little late on things like this but at least they are getting on the bandwagon & standing behind their product.
