Opinion on what to do

Ok. I have a few options now that the TA is alomst ready. This next car is going to be a street/strip car.

1) Take my 1984 Olds Cutty, pull the engine and put in a big block from the garage. For the time being just driving it around being loud, etc. Evuntally throw in a built 540, set of AFR heads, 8-71 blower...the works. Do what I must to make it run in the 10s-9s.

2) Buy a MINT 1994 Chevy Caprice with LT1. Drive it around, do a rather large cam, set of heads. Do what I must to get it into the 11s-12s.

:stupid: i've been looking around for a 96 impala that is total crap to save for a motor swap in the later future. go with the b-body

if you're trying to go fast, big block the G body. if you just want a cruiser, get the caprice. since you said you wanted a street/strip car, I voted for the big block cutty. less weight and its a proven drag car platform.

#1 hands down. just dont put a twin turbo 502 with a tpi in it hahaha

Hmm....I thing both would be really cool. Caprice would be more of a street sleeper, but the G-body would be better on the strip.
