Thanks man.... im getting rid of it pretty much becuase i never drive it... i have the evo and i love it... the car sitts for 2 weeks at a clip and then i decide to drive it to work for the day or something... no sense just having it sit in my driveway.. I also never really had time all spring/summer to get to the track with the car... if i sell it im just doing a few mods to the evo and ill have fun with that for the time being....

What hoops does one have to go through to title & register a car with a PA salvage title in NJ?

V 09-29-2006 02:01 AM

its $200 to get the appointment/application for state inspection, that has to be done in person at tenton motor vehicle headquarters, then you get a date, you go with before and after pics and all receipts for repairs and new parts, and vin number/sources for used parts. You go to inspection, takes an hour or less for them to go over everything. DONT go in the shop until they tell u, they are strict like that, i saw 2 people tossed out when i had my bike done. then you go back to trenton dmv and they issue a clear nj title, and it just has salvage history marked on it, but then you can go register it like any other title.
