poly mounts?
Who's done 'em? I need 'em bad cuz my duals are banging the underside of my car something awful... I am tempted to just have a shop put 'em on because at school tons of free time is not too abundant. Those of you who've done them yourself, how bad was it? Thanks.

i know ls1 ones are a bitch and a half so i would imagine lt1's are not much easier if at all but it can be done in a weekend.

:funny: i will never touch a header bolt ever again. Altho breaking it in the first place is forcing me to upgrade bigtime in the very near future ;-) woohoo

they are pretty easy to do, once you get them out of the car. My motor mounts were already out so it was a breeze. i wasnt going to upgrade but i did anyway and i was glad i did once they were apart i saw how bad they really were. You will need a drill to drill out the old rivets holding the metal shell together around the rubber, and youll have to enlarge 2 of the holes a bit. i had a grinding wheel to help clean off burs and stuff and to speed up gettign rid of the rivets. I took the time to paint them as well and now they look so pretty, lol.

I did the trans mount... and switched it back after two months - it transferred so much vibration into the car i could stand it.
