I have a DVD+-RW that I use quite often. I have plenty so I don't really need them so I'm just stopping by to say DVD+R will work perfectly fine in DVD players, they play on all mine (sony, panisonic, X-Box, PS2).

Melissa, your burner won't burn +R discs? How old is it? My superdrive handles them just fine....

Time to upgrade!! I bought a DVD+-R/W(DL) from Best Buy for about 80 bux. It will burn DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R(DL), DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and DVD-R(DL), its great cause I never have to worry about media compatibility. I love the thing, I burn discs all the time, I'd def recommend it, when I get home I'll find the box and let u know the manufacturer and model.

I hope you didn't spend $80 on that recently....internal DVD burners are hella cheap now, I paid $42 for mine (16x, and burns DL discs) about a year ago...same drive is under $35 now I think.
