Winter Plans???

my plans are pretty simple, continue to clean up the body and interior and drop in a better cam
my goal is to have a good sounding idle and have the whole car in one shade of primer for spring :grampsch:

anyone else got anything glorious planned for their ride?

Savage_Messiah 10-07-2006 06:27 PM

go to texas, beat them mofuggas on their home turf, and take back some trophies

WayFast84 10-07-2006 06:56 PM

Edit you only live once and Im learning that now...

Going all out, Im gonna get a larger small block, cam it, vortec heads/intake.

Put the interior back into the car. clean up the garage and I mean clean!!!

bad64chevelle 10-07-2006 07:07 PM

My goals are as follows:
-4 speed swap
-Change the underhood look of the car
-Clean up the wiring
-Possibly swap out cams
-Tear down and replace gaskets on the Hemi for Dad's 33 plymouth
-Start working on the Nova

enRo 10-07-2006 07:15 PM

-Heads/Cam
-Work on the suspension

Find and fix the oil leak on the 96, get high flow cats/y-pipe for it, and paint it.

the 86 ..... lets see, interior, exterior, motor, drivetrain ........ id go more in depth but id get a headache

BigAls87Z28 10-07-2006 07:29 PM

There was plans of springs, shocks, and bushings all around, but focus will be on the oil leak and finding where the hell its at.

my winter plans... get the ss on the road...unload 90% of my parts and start getting prepared to move out of NJ in 2007.

WildBillyT 10-07-2006 08:02 PM

Finish up the underbody sheetmetal and start finding a body shop.

IROCdan330 10-07-2006 08:08 PM

get the new engine swapped, fix the trans leak, change diff fluid, fix a/c system, weatherstripping, possbily brakes/tires...

i suppose my plans are more fall oriented however.

Untamed 10-07-2006 08:25 PM

Find and fix the electrical short.

Buy a new battery.

Enjoy the car on the road while I sand out the surface rust and spot prime.

Paint... eventually....

ar0ck 10-07-2006 08:44 PM

My biggest plan is to just stick it in the garage under wraps and save for a paint job & 12bolt. Hopefully I will have a beater, and maybe purchase a GSXR600 to kill myself with in the Spring.

The Fixer 10-07-2006 08:53 PM

Not too much here either, just some budget friendly stuff. Would like to redo some interior trim pieces to give a different look to the car. Also going to start building my new CAI using electrical conduit PVC (larger piece, smooth curve), and prolly gonna step up to a 52mm TB. The 355 needs more air. :) Springtime might see a fresh flywheel and Centerforce clutch if funds permit.

Teds89IROC 10-07-2006 09:42 PM

I'd like to finish up underneath with some paint work and weld in a patch on the rocker so that I can get the SFC's welded up. Clean up some wiring in the engine bay and I'm sure more things to do will pop up

btw paul, where are you planning to move to?

camaro2you 10-07-2006 10:41 PM

98-
long tubes
ory
ditch the air pump and egr
install new ac compressor-****in 98's
few other things if i can find the money
86- (finish it)
install gauges
get exhaust welded up
install weatherstriping
install lights
install badges
put interior back in
figure out my brake problem
get the windows tinted
pick out wheels/tires
install aluminum rad
install trans cooler with fan
umm what ever else comes up, would help if i had the car back lol.

j0n 10-07-2006 10:58 PM

-sell the t/a
-sell the crapalier
-purchase new beater
-go back to school

qwikz28 10-07-2006 11:13 PM

the list is as follows:

heads/cam
headers/true duals
tune
suspension
fix the trans problem
gears
interior
and a whole bunch of other crap....

its gonna be a busy winter. i didnt get a chance to do half the crap i had planned over the summer cause of my stupid shoulder. im still hoping to hit 12s before i take the car down for winter... then 11s by this time next year.

Frosty 10-07-2006 11:33 PM
