B&M Mega Shifter

It SHOULD work as in controlling the gear shifts since they are both OD trannys, but you may have to custom mount it, since i'm not sure if the mounting holes will line up, and you may need to custom make/modify the top shifter plate on the 98.

I've never seen someone use one in a 4th gen, mostly because they don't really do anything unless you have a manual valvebody in the trans....

My buddy has one in his 93 TA I believe it was a bitch to get it in there and you have to do some custom work to make it look ok. Also he has the 4L60 not the 4L60E so not sure how that is going to work...

i would be more worried about the neutral safety switch and all of that...in a 98 i would say its more critical beings its completely computer controlled, where as on a normal 700 its just partially computer controlled.

if you can make it work properly im sure it would work...however the consoles are very different so it might take a little work to make it look good.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he has a Pro-Ratchet on his Th400/Gear Vendors setup.
