WayFast84 10-10-2006 08:52 PM

actually they have to fit, since they are mounted on and the pictures are of more places than his driveway which hints that it rolled........if they didnt fit, that wouldnt happen

ar0ck 10-10-2006 09:29 PM

Wow Vitals, I told noah earlier, that the TT2's look amazing on your car! Im in love with the last picture too. Congrats on the purchase btw.

bad64chevelle 10-10-2006 09:37 PM

Damn nice pics. Tsar the car looks GREAT with those wheels on it! Congrats!

JL8Jeff 10-10-2006 09:59 PM

Wow, what a difference! The car takes on a whole new personality with those wheels/tires. The rears are 17x11 with 315's, right? Did you have to trim the rear bumpstops for them to fit? I'm not sure what offset they are compared to the ZR1 style 17x11's I had on my 96 but I had to trim the bumpstops to make sure they wouldn't damage the rims when the car was jacked up. And Noah, what wheels did you end up going with?

35thls1ss19 10-10-2006 10:06 PM

nice picture spot! I ride my quad up there once in a while :) The wheels look great!

Clearance was perfect on his car. We put them on yesterday.

Stock 16x8 with 235 tires aka "skinnies on all 4 corners" for now  Im looking into Chrome TTM's, but ima wait til they decide on making 18's for them. They are just like TT2's but with a dish. If not that, maybe 18" Z06 Motorsports, the thick 5 spoked version.

Tsar 10-10-2006 10:11 PM

thanks dudes!

and yea bumpstops werent a problem  i think i got the stock ones (10 years old) in there, i should find a place that sells new ones

JL8Jeff 10-10-2006 10:17 PM

I even had to trim the bumpstop mounting area as well as the bumpstops. I think those wheels are slightly less(maybe it's more) offset than the 50mm on the AFS ZR1 17x11 wheels. I bet it handles a lot better with all that extra tire under there too!

yea i dunno about offset and such, they fit and i think i can stick like finger and a half there. and it does handle better - so far everything is great.

79dizZy28 10-10-2006 10:35 PM

Very nice, I really do like how the TT2's look too :)

Bandit 10-10-2006 10:50 PM

I'm pretty sure he meant appearance wise, unless you're just messing with him. and I have to disagree with wayfast, TT2's look good on any fbody lol really woke your car up vitals!
