WTB: Forth Gen Rear

Hey all, I need a 4rth gen rear. 3.42:1 gears or better, Posi AND Disc brakes. That is what I want. I have cash and parts to trade. Mostly cash....

Will pick up in the North Jersey area or further if the price is right. Shoot me an IM or post right on here if you have what I need.-Mike

I have one with 3.42s BUT it will need at least new bearings, it's also got no rotors/calipers as I had to use them on the rear currently in my car.

I have a complete rear with 3.42's if Kasey's doesn't work for you. I am in Lakewood though and it would have to be picked up.

formulalt1..how much would ya want for that rear?

Formulalt1 10-26-2006 10:51 AM

I would probably take 250 the auburn one. I also have a rust proofed glossy black Torsen rear with 3.42's that is coming out of my car that I would let go for 350..

Hey all,
Mr Messiah, I am going to pass. I really want a complete rear. Kind of a one-stop-shop. thanks.

Formula, the torsen one sounds nice but it sound like it's all done. I am just going to rip it apart anyway to build the ten-bolt in my 3rd gen convertible so I think I will pass, thanks.

84Z, I will pm you. I think that is just what I'm looking for.

Thanks, Mike

Hey, It's me again with a new twist. It has been brought to my attention that I will be needing a rear with discs from a '93-'97 car. It seems the LS-1 era cars use a disc setup with an internal parking brake that will not work with my car (third gen.) Anybody have a 3.42:1 rear with a Torsen posi and disc brakes from a '93-'97 F-body?-Mike
