I'm invited to one of my good friends wedding in January, the invitation is me and a guest. I DID have a gf back when they made all their arrangements, and now its like wtf... i dont really have anyone to invite that id wanna bring or who really knows my friend... this blows... i tried contacting my ex seeing if shed still wanna go as friends then, but shes too busy to even call me back so forget that....

Bring a wingman and do a wedding crashers deal. Those bridesmaids will be looking hot.

Is it a young wedding? Go stag, pick up a 'date' there!

ShitOnWheels 10-31-2006 02:38 PM

Just because it says "and guest" doesn't mean you have to bring a date. Tables aren't made til they have all the replies, so they can set you up at the singles table.

well, id like to take a date, but now that you mentioned it, i could possibly pick up soemone there. my friends fiancee did say several single friends of hers will eb there...
and there will be an afterparty at the hotel too.

yes it is basically a "young" wedding, my friend is 28.

As for the tables setups, a while back i told him im a definate, since we were/are such good friends, so some tables are already planned. all my real other friends who i would think of brining, are gonna be there anyway. Maybe i'll just find someone last minute and bring them along... there is gonna be sooo much drinking that night, i cant wait.

so all in all, i guess its not a problem. lol

Paul I know what youre sayin, I bought tickets to a concert I went to last week for me and my (now ex) to go to...concert time rolled around and we broke up about 2 months ago now, and wasnt gonna let my $45 go to waste so I brought my buddy who really wanted to go. It sucks, but its how life works I guess.
