A friend needs help with in line electric fuel pump install
 
his stock one is not function much anymore, really slow. and its on a 96 T/A LT1

can he install it inline, and leave the stock fuel pump iin the tank? or will it have to be removed? all help is appreciated

You can do it, but the stocker is going to be a flow restriction. I would pull it out and get a new intank pump.
