bad IAC?

what are some symptoms of a bad idle air control sensor?

The Fixer 11-06-2006 08:12 AM

Random/erratic idle, and difficult starting comes to mind.

hmm

Why, what's your car doing?

maroman88 11-07-2006 09:44 AM

takes a few seconds of cranking to start and sputters while idleing. i checked the TPS position its right on. i changed the plugs and wires, and i checked the fuel pressure and its good too

The IAC passage/throttlebody could be carboned up too, and just need a good cleaning. How many miles on it?
