Thinking of selling my computer. L@@K inside :-D

<----------- = :geek:

Thinking about yet another upgrade, prolly building my own computer from scratch, and I'll obviously have no use for this one. I bought it a little over a year ago for $1600 (w/out the monitor, that was included free due to BestBuy ****ing up my order :-) ). It is still pretty top of the line and I have YET to have any problems with it. Heres the specs:

http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/1...2lacopylg7.jpg
  • Sony VAIO VGC-RB45GX
  • Intel Pentium 4 630 w/HT technology (3.0GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache)
  • Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition
  • 1GB PC3200 400MHz DDR
  • 256MB Raedon X700 PRO Graphics Card (Originally an Integrated 224MB Intel Graphics Accel 900)
  • DVD-ROM Drive
  • DVD+-RW Burner
  • 200GB 7200rpm Serial-ATA HD
  • Multi-Media Card Reader (in other words, if your digital camera uses a SM/xD/SD/etc chip, u dont need a USB cable to import pics, just put the chip in and voila)
  • 10/100Base-T Ethernet, USB 2.0, i.Link Data/Fax Modem

With Windows XP Media Center 2005, you can watch TV and record shows on the computer, found that pretty neat when I first bought it. I had 1536MB of RAM total, but I need 1 of the 512MB cards for something else, so I basically put the computer back to stock so to say, since I did install one of the chips outta my own wallet... it is expandable to 2GB RAM too. Also, I bolded out a lline to make sure that if you want the graphics card still in the computer and installed, its gonna be extra cuz it costed me big bucks. If not, Ill set it back up to accept the original graphics. The computer makes a loud clatter when you first boot it up, thats just some of the stuff inside vibrating. After 2 minutes of running, it is EXTREMELY quiet. I had this computer running overnight a few days in a row at a time, with boot-ups here and there for upgrades and the periodic "rest" of the hardware, and it still runs like a champ, which is why I always recommend Sony desktops to anybody looking to spend the extra penny for top-of-the-line computer w/ top-of-the-line parts.

Anyway, make offers. If I dont get a good offer, I'll prolly use it for something that I have not yet decided on

Oh, and monitor is not included :-P

Bump... 17" Sony black Flatscreen LCD Monitor will be included (to match the computer), due to the purchase of a 19" LCD monitor :-) Not looking to seperate the two so dont ask :-P
