I think I found my brake problem...
I heard the indicator on the pad scrapin so today I pulled the wheel and caliper off:
inside pad facing out http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...2/P3230060.jpg backside of the rotor http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...2/P3230062.jpg outer pad facing in looks good, nice even wear http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...2/P3230061.jpg so yea, I think its time for new rotors up front lol |
Wow, that'll do it! At least your pads are still in one piece though. :) When I did my father-in-law's brakes on his pickup, one pad came out in 3 pieces!
Remember to lube up those caliper bolts and bushings too so the new pads wear evenly. |
Heh....Looks like the rear rotors on my Lumina after a few months of driving with new calipers. The sliders tend to freeze up often.....

Slides FTW!

wow...

OH Ted i was wrong. The lip ended up on the pad side not the rotor. The inside of the rotor is wasted. Lube up those slides and make sure they move nicely. Want help let me now. I'll just need a ride.
