I just lost a friend to the car gods....

Hi everyone, unfortunately I have to write this thread, not because I feel I should let people of South Jersey, and all of Jersey at that know, but I feel this is to let the younger generation of performance car owners to take it easy, and drive safe. If you happen to get the Atlantic City Press, and have the November 27th edition, Look on page C4 and you'll see a mangled Mustang on there, Thedriver was killed, that was my friend. The passenger was killed as well, and the two other are in critical condition. It's sad to know the kid, and to have worked on his cars at my other friends house, but it happens. Why? becausehe was a wreckless driver, plain and simple, and unfortunately he had to find out the hardest way possible. Now to fill you in on some info of what happened, apparently he lost control down Main st., and hit a tree. Inside info says he was doin 80-90+ when he lost control. There was a 80-100Ft. skid mark, which tells you he made that and still mangled the car hard enough for them to have to cut the top just to pull them out. the steering wheel was stuck in his chest. He loved his Mustangs, and JUST bought that car. It was a 25th anniversery mustang (1990) with the magnesium style rims, he saved up for that car, and lost everything just for a thrill. Now Im not sure if he was drunk at teh time, but he was known to drink and drive alot, and do drugs, which also says if you do anyhting, hide the keys. So whats the moral of the story? the moral is watch how you drive, it could be the last time. Dont impress your friends, theres not need to impress, you already have the nice car, you dont need to show them what it can do unless its on a sanctioned track. And especially dont do ****, weither you think you can handle it, dont risk it. Be safe, be smart, be alive. Thankyou.

Heres the story, unfortunately theres no pic, why unfortunatly, cause to see it, would make you think twice before driving wreckless.

Thanx everyone. I hope some of the newcomers of F-Bodies, or their licenses have read this, adn made them think to be responsible. Today we just laid him to rest. And tho it was sad, the nicest thing about the service that kinda put a smile on my face was that instead of putting flowers on the casket, we put guitar picks, cause he loved the guitar. The ironic thing about the service was that right infront of the funeral home, a lincoln smashed into a mercedes CL or SL500, im not sure what theyre named, and basically haulted the service till they could clean it up.
