Wii = crap
i was bored and decided to go cruising around. i stopped at toy'r'us and noticed they had a Wii out to play with. the idea is cool and i was kind of stoked to see how it worked.
well, the system is slow, there is a noticable delay in moving the controller and any reaction on screen, and the graffics are crap compared to xbox360 and PS3. |
nintendo got pwn'd by micro**** and sony  the PS3 is pretty sweet, he doesnt have the HI-Def cable yet so the graphics look the same :?
|
ughhh delay is low batteries. My buddy got it and it was the best game of madden I've ever played.
|
why were you at toys-r-us?
|
some questions are better left unanswered jake
|
matchbox/hot wheels/johnny lightning cars :)
the toys 'r' us on rt1 in lawrenceville usually has a very good selection. |
oh no i wasn't making fun of you... i gotta head over there soon to pick up some gifts actually
|
i heard there are wrist straps that apparently go along with the wii and most toy stores and such that have it to demo dont use them because theyre fragile? apparently without them there is more of a delay then with? i dont know...
|
there was no wrist band on them, just the part you hold.
|
wii owns you
and the wrist strap is so you dont lose grip and throw the thing across the room, i dont think it has anything to do with accuracy. |
oh ok...
|
my friend got me the hotwheels '06 first edition '69 camaro SS 'vert
looks sweet |
The only reason I'd pick up a Wii is for Zelda
|
Xbox 360 FTW!!!
I <3 this system..... - Justin |
tried out supermonkeyball on the wii today
not bad but the controller has so many options hard to figure out all the mini games overall i liked it |
I have the wii. I personally like it. With Zelda, I have noticed a delay, but there is an adjustable sensitivity for the controller, but I haven't messed with that yet.

this is actually the first negative wii thing i've read. everyone who i know who has played it said it rules and they want one. my brother has been looking for one already. i get electronic gaming monthly, and they unanimously voted it as a better buy than the PS3 factoring price, available games, fun factor, and replay value. The price is destroying the PS3, especially since no one really cares that it plays blu ray movies, and the games out there now don't really add anything beyond the xb360 catalog in terms of graphics, sound, etc. Sony (the proprietary format nazi's) will never learn that their first goal should be actually making the product the consumer wants (at the price they want to pay), and then their second goal should be doing what they want to do in terms of proprietary formats and preventing piracy. They always have it the other way around. Betamax, minidisc, umd, the "uncopyable" music cd debacle, and now blu ray. The jury is still out on blu ray vs hd-dvd, but i wouldn't be surprised if neither of them take off. And nintendo DS is putting a hurting on the psp right now, and the wii and xb360 will collectively put a hurting on the ps3 imo. |

i havent played the wii yet, ive played PS3 over my friends house but he doesnt have the HDMI cable so the graphics look like ps2 graphics  as for NFS Carbon, that game is sick i love it. it makes me want to go out and buy an xbox 360

you cant customize the camaro concept?? wtf is up with that?!?!?!
