Where did all the Cowboys fans go?

a few weeks ago you guys wouldn't shut up about "Amercia's Team". where are all those die-hard fans now?

unstable bob gable 12-31-2006 10:20 PM

Fook the Plowboys! :)

baddest434 01-01-2007 12:01 AM

LS1Hawk 01-01-2007 10:28 AM

Haha, good observation.

armymp1983 01-01-2007 11:41 AM

I'm still a cowboys fan. They just seem to suck these days, i don't see them going far at all this year. I'll be the first to say they played like ****.:|

Acting like the typical losers that they are. Hiding when they're team sucks.

Njgunslinger 01-01-2007 02:23 PM

yeah, Im a cowboy fan, didnt say anything when they were winning and dont say anything when they are losing. But typical loser huh? Oh I see you are from Pa...that explains the ignorance.

Frosty 01-01-2007 02:43 PM

LOL, it's a joke. Actually I grew up in NJ. Nice try though. :D

Mike 01-01-2007 03:06 PM

not a cowboys fan, but.......tim they have a game next week, do your steelers?

NJSPEEDER 01-01-2007 03:10 PM

i haven't spent anytime bragging about what the steelers are doing this season either, actually i didn't even do it last year when they won the superbowl.
my point is simply that we had several cowboys fans running there mouths when the season was going well, now they are dropping a lot of games and their pride seems to have vanished.
i could make fun of the giants fans the same way, but they weren't any louder when the team was winning than they are now. i guess they saw the collapse coming or somethin. lol

deadtrend1 01-01-2007 03:16 PM

the steelers wanted to gie the rest of the NFL a chance this year. yea .. mmhmm.

I got some Eagle fans at work that bragged in the begining of the year, shut up when they were losing and started routing for the Jet's instead (yea, no lie), and now they are bragging about the eagles winning again.

I asked if it hurt them when they fell off and climbed on and fell off the banwagaon each time....

NJSPEEDER 01-01-2007 03:24 PM

i woudl also like to congratulate michael vick for not being able to beat the eagles second team and then getting yet another boo-boo. one of these years the sports writers really have to get off his nuts, he isn't that good and he has never played a full season.

They started rooting for the Jets?? WTF! They need their Eagles fan card revoked ASAP. That's a disgrace.

One of the most overrated players EVER. He will NEVER win a championship.

NJSPEEDER 01-01-2007 03:37 PM

i think he woudl be a great receiver. with his speed and natural athletic ability i doubt he woudl have trouble finding ways to get open.
i jsut have trouble believing that with all the "experts" that these teams hire to develop talent and offensive schemes they hadn't noticed that "no scramble and chuck it" QB has ever won a superbowl.

one will soon.....be it vick, young, or some other young kid it will happen....

NJSPEEDER 01-01-2007 03:45 PM

i woudl say young has the best chance. he is not a first priority runner like vick and the others before. young has great mechanics and always checks off all of his receivers before he decides to take off.
he is also willing to throw the ball away ifit isn't there. vick would rather run around and lose 10 yards that throw the ball away.

Frosty 01-01-2007 03:53 PM

Young will be 10 times the QB Vick will ever be. Young at least can throw the ball. Vick has maybe one good looking pass out of 10 lol

NJSPEEDER 01-01-2007 04:11 PM

throwing a good looking ball isn't what it takes. look at the crap that farve puts up. half the time it looks like he kicked it.
it is about pass selection and knowing when to move in the pocket. dan marino had the lowest percentage of sacks for any QB in nfl history and it wasn't because he was speedy by anyone's standards. it was because he was aware of the pocket, aware of his receivers, and knew when it was time to give it up and get rid of the ball. it helped that he had arguably the best 0-line in nfl history.

That's kind of what I meant. I didn't mean a nice looking pass. I meant a good play/decision. I'm biased, I never liked Vick, I thought he was garbage when he was drafted and I think he's garbage now. He's a great athlete, that's about it.

BonzoHansen 01-01-2007 05:04 PM

BF throws lots of INTs....

BigAls87Z28 01-01-2007 07:13 PM

Cowboys went from #1 to **** in just a handful of weeks. They really are gunna get romped by the Seahawks. They really should just give up the seat to GB or something, cause its just gunna be a total waste.
Egirls are gaining speed and peaked just when they needed too. Sons of bitches.

Frosty 01-01-2007 07:23 PM

Al, that team is in shambles. You can help thank Me-O for that. You can also thank the media for hyping up Romo to be something he's not. I'm sorry but what NFL star goes around hugging people before a game? He's absorbed the glitz and glamor already, lol.

Me-O? Heh, the guy is a nut case. It's one thing to fall asleep in a meeting but it's another thing to talk about it in the media and joke about it. A real team guy.

BigAls87Z28 01-01-2007 07:28 PM

That guy is the A-Rod of Football. Flashes me back to the Sanders days when they hired him away from San Fran for the largest contract ever. Only Dion did help an already stelar team become better...and they beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl.

Knipps 01-01-2007 07:31 PM

you can say the same for all the rangers fans on here
