Welcome to Paterson.....
well, it has been an interesting day. the ride up took a touch over an hour.......and that was as good as today got.
the kickoff meeting for the new store, they are trying to tell me they can do this without anyone running any overtime. that should make the next few days interesting.
get to the first hotel, what a dump. recently remdeled and i cna only imagine what it looked like before. it had an interesting smell in the lobby, some conbination of cigarettes and puke, the room was better, it only smelled like the puke(gald i requested a non-smoking room), the biggest roach i have ever seen said hi to me as i was walking to my room and a business man who had clearly jsut completed an "interview" with a young woman was on his way to check out.
so i sit down and find and internet signal and i can fel my eyes getting a mild burning sensation, i figured i jsut got some dust or something in them at the store since there is still construction going on. i figure i wil rinse them out while i take my shower. it was a good plan until i realized that NO FUGGING WATER COMES OUT OF THE SHOWER HEAD!!!!!
that was the last straw. i am now in a differnet hotel and it is much nier. it is a red roof inn, so not to bad. only issue is that they have no internet, i fixed that by finding a network, proly belonging to someone in the neighborhood behind the hotel :)
so, if anyone wants to do anything while i am up here this week hit me up with a PM. hopefully i cna find somehting interesting to do in the next ten days.
