Pair of new 3" V-Force mufflers
These are just a little too loud for me. They sound awesome and mean as heck, but they are louder than I would like for cruising. They are offset inlet and center outlet. 3" inlet/outlet, 13" long case and overall length 19.25" part # 5003. They are new and I just installed them and did one quick drive. I got the pipes out of 1 muffler no problem but the outlet side of the other muffler was pretty tight and I had to wiggle it pretty good. I would recommend using an expander to open that one back up a little. I also cut some slots in each inlet and outlet to make it easier to adjust and remove but the cuts shouldn't have any effect on them. Looking to get $45 for the pair.

Here's a link to somebody running a similar 3" dual setup. He used Flowmasters though and I will say my car was louder at idle and a bit louder when I revved it. He had a 396 in this car as well. It still sounds sweet but when driving the car it was too loud for me(the cost of hearing aids keep going up!) 3 Inch Dual Exhaust on a 396 - |
