A 4th gen box won't fit. Ted do yourself a favor and build your own. That's what I did and it fits perfectly. If I was smart at the time I would have made a cut list of all the pieces.....but alas I was in a rush and didn't. Mine fits perfectly flush with the hump in the back and looks like it came factory. Just do some planning and you can make something that looks great.

It's actually not for the camaro, it's for the T-bird. I have a huge box in the T-bird and I just want a smaller one so I have more trunk space.

its not as simple as just putting the subs in a smaller box... subs require a certain amount of air space depending on the design of the box. any info on your current setup?

I know this, I was the one that put it all together when it was in the Camaro. I have a Rockford Fosgate punch series 800.2 amp and 2 10" Rockford Fosgate punch HE2's. I Forget the required air space (have it written down somewhere) but I have them in a custom box made for thirdgen's, which does accomodate them. The box is heavy as hell and takes up a lot of room in the trunk of the T-bird; a lot of the box is just wasted space to make a custom fit in the thirdgens. I appreciate the concern though 8-)

I have a hatch style box with 2 10's in it. Its similar to the one pictured in the post. I bought it new several years ago, had in a T Type I used to own, only had it in there for a month or 2. The subs and the box are like new. The subs in there are a pair of DB Crossfire 10's. I will post some pics later of it.
