skip shift

Any1 know what sensor it is to remove the skip shift on ls1 cars. Some one told me a while back it was like a omh 200 or something like that. I just need something temporarily for now. In the spring ill permenatley remove it with tuning. Any1??

under the car, on the drivers side of the trans, there are a few connectors( you want to disconnect the one all the way up top by where the shifter enters the case). remember drivers side! passenger side is the reverse lockout solenoid. Once the skip shift solenoid is unplugged, thats it, it wont activate. The light on the dash will still come on. Some people say you need a resistor in place to avoid a check engine light, but im not familiar if thats true and/or what size resistor youd need. I bought a skipshift eliminator module back when i got my car, btu i never installed it. the main purpose of the kits are to seal off the connectors so dirt and debris dont get in there and it can be easily hooked back up. im selling my unused eliminator for $10.

2.2k ohm 1/2 watt resistor ..... i put a link in a page .. ill try and find it. I did the resistor trick for a few years until i just had it programmed out when i got my tune ...

Passenger side it the backup light switch. Drivers side, running front to back is skip shift solenoid, VSS, reverse lockout solenoid.

the one you marked reverse lockout is the skip shift. the reverse lockout is on the pass side. the one you marked as skip shift i believe is for the reverse lights.
