drag boat racing
 

watching it on speed channel. pretty awesome, their running 7 seconds @ 165-170 mph. can't imagine how it is inside the boat the camera pics show the drivers arms shaking all over the place. must be one hell of a ride.

I have a tape (thats how old it is :lol: ) of all kinds of boat racing, serious stuff. My dad and uncle used to race jersey speed skiffs.

it is fun to watch, but i don't think i woudl ever do it.
eddie hill gave up drag boats for top fuel because the boats are "unsafe". he then proceeded to flip a fuel rail and say it wasn't too bad a ride. lol

not sure i'd like to try it either. looks like fun but looks kinda unstable going down the track.
