WTB - Ring Gear spacer

Anyone have a ring gear spacer for a 7.5 / 7.625 carrier, i need a cheap used one to copy it

Side note, I trust you know what you are doing but ring gear spacers aren't a great idea. Especially when you can just get thick gears for your carrier.

im with ya 100% if this for a camaro... but this is for a s-10 with a 2.8 I may take my buddys posi and throw it in an S-10 im thinking about getting.

Ok cool. I figured you knew what's up, just making sure! :D

i betcha it may even break in an S-10.... i dont know what could be so bad about them aside from it could sheer bolts.. well i guess if you think about it that is pretty bad huh? Im figuring that they wont let the ring gear sit concentric on the posi as the press fit wouldnt be established, but they somehow work so i guess they are ok for a weak application like an s-10, now i could always weld a bead around the posi and the spacer, ya think anyone has tried that? Im guessin yeah huh?

A bead along the diff and spacer? I would think you would run into issues from dissimilar metals- the posi is a casting (iron?) and the spacer is probably steel.

ive seen steel straps wekded to broken cast arms before and they hold, im not a good welder aside from some stainless pieces, i will have to ask the welder at work tomorrow or google it later

Oh, it's definetly possible to do so. Welding axle tubes is the same situation- cast center section, steel tubes. It's not impossible but requires special skill. The welds won't hold if done wrong.
