If you are asking for informational purposes: Don't bother with the 10 bolt and save for the 12.
If you are asking because you are considering a purchase:
Dude, I know you are hearing this from everybody. But I feel the need to shoot you straight so you can get your car going as soon as possible. Honestly, I'd like to see you succeed with your project.
Get your car moving under its own power first. Really. I'm not joking. I'm not trying to bust your stones.
There are PLENTY of other places to spend your money right now. Not to mention that you will have to buy all kinds of other stuff.
IF YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY ON NON-ESSENTIAL PARTS YOU WILL FAIL. I've been a part of 2 projects that have had this happen. It is NOT fun. Especially when you see the car you've busted your ass on loaded onto a trailer and sold.
YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD HOT PARTS LATER.
