is there such a thing as having 2 intake manifolds on a 3.4?

this kid was talkin to me on aim about getting "intake manifolds" on his 3.4 v6 camaro

i proceeded to tell him intake manifold, singular

he said no its 2 piece, upper and lower

i said yes it might have 2 pieces but it is a single intake manifold, those parts make up the intake manifold, as a whole. (FAST has a 3 piece design if i remember but its a single intake)

i told him if he wants to see intake manifolds, look at a early 90s 300zx or mid 90s dodge intrepid, for they had intake manifolds and TBs for each bank

if im wrong, ill admit it but im pretty sure theres only a single intake manifold on a 3.4v6 lol

The 3.4 v-6 f-body is a single piece aluminum intake manifold.

I know some cars have upper and lower intakes...my mustang did.

my 3.8 has upper and lower intake manifolds, dunno about those 60 degrees tho.

My buddy bought a 1994 3.4 firebird to put a 408 in it.
I have the motor here so I got bored and pulled the intake off the motor since it was sitting in my back building

Single manifold. Doesn't matter how many pieces make it up.

many cars/trucks have an upper & lower intake manifold...my gtp has an upper & lower...although the upper is the blower :lol: but yeah many vehicles have both...not sure about 3.4 fbodies but my wifes 3.1 buick century has an upper & lower, right Ian hehe
