Two teens killed in Jackson
eh...he was 17, snow on the ground a 50 mph speed limit & a curve...the pictures look bad so who knows how fast he was going...I remember when I was that age...I didn't really know what I was doing but still thought I was a great driver. Sux to hear though one way or the other.
Ashamed what happened, parents should not lose kids like that. Saw pics of the car and it had to been going over 50 for sure.
Heck even when I slide in snow my first reaction is to push for the brake (big no no in a slide in the snow ) |
Definitely going way too fast for the conditions, such a shame. My heart goes out to their father...losing 2 kids like that is terrible, plus he lost his wife to a car accident several years ago as well.
inexperience and weather conditions caused this horrible accident. got to feel bad for the father. christ.........
wow thoughts go out to his father for sure, i had a car accident in 2001 in scotland in my first winter driving luckily enough i survived the operations and life support definately makes me think seeing something like this.
Take care people its not worth your life saving the extra five minutes driving in the snow |
my heart goes out to the family and all of their friends and teachers in school.. an announcement like that is not something that anyone ever forgets. Twice in my junior year of high school they had to make the announcement that there was a fatal accident, its not something that anyone can prepare for or ever forget.
i feel bad for their families and friends, but i have to wonder how fast they were going.
inexperience and weather aside, that car is folded nearly in half around that tree. that takes a good bit more than 50mph to do. |
I read the article in drivers ed class. It sucks. and I feel sorry for the passanger, but who in the right mind goes 50+ in snow?
geez, I feel bad for the family
OMG, I'm with Ted on the feeling bad for the family.
I feel bad for the family and friends. It said that the father had lost his wife in a car accident 7 years ago too. It's really sad.
Very sad. Its no way to loose kids like that, but Ive always believed when your time is up thats it.

quoted from the article: "They had big plans," he said. "They had lots of friends." but they never planned on getting into a wreck... |
