i got a B&M speed shifter in my 94...makes a wourld of difference...its 175 i think

GP99GT 03-17-2007 10:33 AM

get a pro-5.0 youll never look back

bubba428 03-17-2007 02:12 PM

B&M FTW!!! its a 30% reduction in shift distance...and thats from nutral to gear...so its 60% off total shift

alexm 03-18-2007 01:00 AM

yeah had a look at the B&M and the pro5.0 was leaning towards the b&m. is the stick actually much shorter? i'm hoping so

bubba428 03-19-2007 08:50 AM

yea its a little shorter the distance betwine is isanly different

alexm 03-19-2007 09:15 AM

i used to have one on the supra but it was on there when i bought it so didnt know the difference between stock, b&m has been ordered this morning. bolts straight in right?

GP99GT 03-20-2007 07:01 AM

the one on my mustang t5 bolted right in...just pull off the shifter boot and all the bolts should be right there

you shoulda went pro 5.0 though :p just because a specific shifter has a shorter stick doesnt make the quality of the shift better

bubba428 03-20-2007 07:21 AM

yup...took me about 15 mins to do it...on thew t-5 theres just 4 bolts in, out, bam, shorty shift

alexm 03-20-2007 11:11 AM

lol i wasn't really bothered about the length at all i had a b&m on the supra so kinda leaned towards that anyway

see how i get on with the b&m if i'm not sure i'll get a pro 5.0 to try off a friend
