For Sale - Narrowed 9" Rear

2 Attachment(s)
We ran this narrowed 9" for years in the 68 camaro with a ladder bar Koni coil over rear suspension. The last motor was dynoed at 932hp at 7400 and the rear held up fine. Now that we are going with a blower this year it was reccomended we upgrade to a fabricaded housing. As you see in the pics the housing is in good shape, free of any visibal cracks or imperfections. Its 44" from flange to flange and I am going to put it on EBay but it would be much easier for me to sell it if anyone wants to pick it up. Attached are pictures. $150 OBO and I have a new set of chrom molly wheelie bars to go with it if anyone needs them too.

Question (I'm still new to Camaro world of mods)...would this 9" fit a third gen or no? I've heard of people putting Ford 9" in them, but I don't know if this "narrowed" one would fit or not.

Long story short, I'm doing LS1 conversion on a third gen. I know the 9" would be heavy...but also "unbreakable"

if your running coil springs and ladder bars i dont see why not, its rather universal. Dont forget you still have to find axles and a center section. You can find complete rears for sale that will work in your car as well. I just posted this for someone who may alread have a housing that cracked or ruptured, you are always welcome to come look at it and make me an offer if you decide to go this route
