Idea I had

I posted this over on fullthrottlev6, and in the spirit of me trying to post more on this forum, I am sharing my idea with my Jersey comrades.

So I still have my stock wheels, since I don't have much money to spend on my car that isn't a necessity, but I've always liked Centerline wheels, such as these:

So I photoshopped them on my car and I think I like them more then any other wheel:

I tried to make them duller (more dull?) but I'm not very good. Anyways, it was just a thought. I never go to the track, but I don't care, I like the look.

Thoughts, comments, whatever?

EDIT: I had pics in the post, but they didn't come up, but yea, that's why I put it in multimedia. Move away if need be.

I like centerline wheels too but no ofense I think those wheels are horrible. I think these are a little better for your car.

No offense taken. I think I lot of people dislike those wheels and even I think they are controversial on a 4th gen firebird. The wheels you posted do look very nice though.

im not a big fan of centerline wheels at all, but I think You can pull it off with your car, of coarse Its not my thing, but you can and probably will pull it off, just expect there to be lots of nay sayers.

I think they are great wheels but they do not really go with the lines of your car. I think those cenerlines look good with a large sidewall and raised white letter tires.

Ugh. They only look 'good' on redneck rockets. Please don't.

Eh, I can think of a few late 2nd gens that look good with them.

No you can't. You think you can. But you really can't. :moon: That is nothing but an A/R Outlaw wheel. Or a Cragar SST.

I always thought it looked pretty good on my car. Although bonzo is right in that they are outlaws. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...gn/camaro2.jpg

When I think of Centerlines, I think of Convo Pros... like this http://www.centerlinewheels.com/imag...convofront.jpg

Rears on Shawn's car (Floydsummerof68 from fullthrottlecorvette.... i mean v6):

Those wheels you posted tho... ugh, can't say I like them by any stretch of the imagination

jola 03-21-2007 11:26 AM

Haha, I like the convo pros a lot too.

Savage_Messiah 03-22-2007 01:59 AM

OK gotta make an addendum to my previous post: Tony, they look good on your car. But I doubt they'd look good on a 4th gen.
