I was scheduled to have FiOS TV installed on Monday. They called (after I took the afternoon off from work) and said that they were backed up and couldn't make it. We rescheduled for Thursday morning. Then they showed up Wednesday afternoon to install it, and I hadn't re-cleaned the basement for them yet (we are renovating), so they said they would be back the next day. Yesterday they arrived at about 10:00 am, and were there until about 3:30, but couldn't get anything to work at all.
I have 2 boxes and a router, nothing hooked up, muddy footprints on my bed from them running new coax, and holes drilled in the side of my house for said coax with no grommets or anything. They were supposedly going to come back today to try to get it working.....we'll see how that goes. :roll:
Hopefully they won't send that same tech back. I tried getting in touch with Customer Service and Dispatch there last night, but they were so busy that my call wasn't even getting placed in a hold queue. It's very disappointing considering that I've heard the service is great, and I've never had any trouble with Verizon before.
