drag rules

what are the rules regarding drag racing for convertible cars because my friend wants 2 race his eclipse but its a droptop. are there any limitations?

As per NHRA rules you'll need a roll-bar and fire jacket at 13.49 and quicker, HOWEVER, i went 12.9x at englishtown and 12.7x at atco without anyone saying anything to me in my 'vert.

At Island you'll probably have issues running 13.2x or better
