1988 Pontiac Trans AM, Must GO

SOLD

Black with grey interior. T-Tops, 305 TBI 5spd manual. 3.42 rear. 16x8 BBS Crosslaces. 126K on body, 24K on motor, 70K on tranny, 30K on rear. the lo-down

Body- paint still shines but the hood, LF fender, and bumper are paint cracked but shines real nice, rear wing has the usual wavey paint and cracking but nothing major. i give it 7 outta 10

Interior - Digital Dash(everything works! cept for one thing), grey. couple stains(one from when heater core blew up), center console is starting to come apart a lil, has alpine CD player. has the preformance sound(see below). the new dash pad is cracked down the center. i have the orginal one with three small holes and a chipped end for the buy to have repaired. has an a/f gauge and oil pressure gauge. i give it bout 8-10

Drivetrain - LO3 engine. dynoed 174hp 243lb ft be4 the 3ypipe on a 90* day with 100% humidty. was rebuilt be4 i got the car. new motor mounts were installed. has a new alternator and i lubbed up the tensior to make sure the new alterantor last a while. the motor has an open element, edelbe brock intake, 160* t-stat, low temp fan swtich, was told it was a L98 cam isntalled, has a reman dizzy, the throttle body may have a free mod not sure yet. the tranny is from an 88 maro. had 63K when installed the clutch is a napa one and the flywheel was resurfaced by a machine shop. the rear end is from a 89 firebird. its an one wheel wonder but its an upgrade over the stock 3.08s

suspenson/exhuast - rear has welded in/bolted in LCA relocation briackets, UMI LCA, Panhard bar. the exhaust is a 3" mac ypipe, high flow cat, and dynomax cat back with polished tips. sounds good and passes CT Emissions

the issues - the bolts for the TPS broke when i was changing the sensor. so i will have that addressed be4 its sold. the lights(the ones that come on when the -lights/headlights) on the digital dash dont work. i think the fuse blew cuz the a/f gauge stop working at the same time. but the digital dash works perfect, nothing is fadded out. when the cd player was install circuit city did the install and i think the guy didnt wire it in but i dont care, not into sound. just wanted a cd player.

the car was featured in GM High-Tech Preformance Budget Brawlers. i had a horrible day and broke the tranny mount. the car runs 15.2 @ 89 with the best MPH at 93. it has the time just needs the traction.

im asking 2500$ with the cd player, 4th gen rear, and two new tires.
