My 383 short block has arrived from The Engine Store. I will post pics as soon as I can.

Forged crank, H Beam rods and forged pistons with my TPIS oil pan on it and my TPIS ZZ409 cam in it.

I hope so. Im ordering AFR 195cc heads in a couple weeks. All I need after that is the pushrods. Im gonna have to measure them to make sure i get the right size.

tranny is being rebuilt buy a freind, I beefed up the stock rear but i know it will still break, when that happens i will buy a 12 bolt but that isnt in the budget right now.

The stock rear should live for a while as long as you don't put slicks on the car. No traction = no broken parts, usually. ;)

yeah I wasnt planning on putting slicks with the stock rear. I know that will affect my quarter mile times but its not all about time slips. I want to melt the tires of the rim...........:lol:
