Pretty neat ride! 8-)

Looks great! But is it just me, or does the rear look tweaked?

enRo 03-30-2007 01:45 AM

Knowing ebay, i figured there would be a 2.8L V6 under that hood

car looks like it has some muscle........but only a 4 pt bar? makes no sence to me

79dizZy28 03-30-2007 09:02 AM

very nice

Teds89IROC 03-30-2007 09:26 AM

Nice!

Tru2Chevy 03-30-2007 09:33 AM

Eh....sounds like the motor is nothing special. A .500 lift 218/228 cam with stock-type pistons, and a 650 carb? Can't be all that quick....

Better off with a small block, must weight a ton and I bet it only makes 400HP or so.

Nice start to make it a full blown race car but for 16K

I was thinking the same thing. It's not impressive to me at all. 650 Holley on a 454? Summit Cam? Non NHRA legal roll bar? What appears to be a possible botched pro street job?

Black pro street IROCs are cool looking but aside from that there isn't much else.

I noticed that too.

The rear is tweaked so the tires stay on the ground at launch

Eh? With tires that big, I doubt there is any trouble getting that car to launch with that motor in it....

- Justin

SteveR 03-30-2007 01:44 PM

I think the rear is tweaked because of the launch lol

camaro2you 03-30-2007 01:50 PM

imo it looks like a pos.

WayFast84 03-30-2007 02:11 PM

its not that impressive, but it runs, I wish my car ran :(

Eh?

The motor isn't making anywhere near the amount of power that requires that type of chassis tuning. Even then, the stiffer spring would go in the passenger side of the car to absorb the torque reaction- not the driver's side.

I think they either photographed the car on a slant or screwed up the pro street job.

DaSkinnyGuy 03-30-2007 09:30 PM

LOL no one tweaks a car like that for launch are you kidding me

What, with a stiffer spring or extra leaf on the passenger side? Plenty of people have done that, and still do. Some factory super stock cars were even built like that. But that's not the case here since it's backwards
