Newz on the Dominion project

I've been e mailing with the dad of the dood who is building my Dominion 32V 396 LT1, and I asked him about what kinda power levels they think they can make. Here is a quote:

Bret was talking over 700 fwhp in the 7000-7200 range. We think that is doable. I'm sure 750 would give you a heart attack, so we won't even mention that number. "Underpromise...overdeliver!"

Me likey, BIG TIME!!! 8-)

Explain this Dominion cylinder head again. I remember seeing & hearing about it long ago, but I never fully understood the concept. This sounds pretty bad ass. What car is this motor going to go into?

OK..it is a 32V [4 valve per cylinder] head, but doesn't use overhead cams. The valves are actuated by the normal pushrods, but instead of actuating only 1 valve, it actuates 2 valves, via a shaft rocker set up.

And this monster of an engine will be going in the AMX.

My engine builder doesn't like the rocker arm set up, so he is designing a different set up that will be lighter and stronger, and allow me to spin the engine to 7500+ RPM. After the rocker arm set up is done and proven to work, the heads will be going to a head porter for some porting and flow testing. The heads will prolly flow in the area of .380 CFM. 8-)

I don't quite know what to say, although my pants suddenly just got tighter. I like the view of the valve in the second to last pic...straight shot,no obstructions....nice!

Ahhhhhh, so many valves! So which project will be done first, your Dominion head LT1 or my JL8? :?: Or will we both fade away long before the sun sets..... Actually, Al Gore said your Dominion head project is much better for the environment than my crossram JL8 so you'll probably get the federal funding long before I will! So keep up the good work!
