Hey a tampon worked for the Bullrun guys. Use one of those for the leak then get the center console door fixed / replaced. ;)

What is the source of the A/F leak?

Yeah, $3-400 would allow for replacing most of the cooling system, and chances are it's a gasket.

bad hoses or jsut a whole new system. I'm thinking the tubes casue i tighted the clamp and it stopped for a while but it is now happening in 2 places so i'm waiting for a day off to check it out.

Yeah, don't monkey-fist the worm gear clamps too much. You can overdo it, snug is fine. Where exactly is it leaking? Engine side or radiator side?

Rafterman 04-10-2007 04:30 PM

near the hose clamp, and near the firewall on the passenger side.

Could be a problem with your heater core. See if you can grab a pic and post it up.

BonzoHansen 04-10-2007 10:37 PM

2nd gen heater core - oh boy. Good luck.
