00-07 youre looking at at least 4k

IMO, look for the following...
'99+ honda CBR F4/F4i(fuel injection)/CBR600RR
'03+ ninja ZX636R/ZX6RR
'03+yamaha R6(01-02 are ok too)

the pre-'03 ninjas are very uncomfortable and i hated my friends.
i also had a 99 CBR 600 F4 that i bought as a salvage and rebuilt, a very comfortable bike with good power. 99-00 were still carb'd.
when most companies switched over to FI by '03 there were tons of other improvements also made. I love my '03 ninja now and i havent even gotten into aftermarket performance parts for it much yet.

if you get any offers of r6's and dont want them let me know bro, i'll ask around i know a couple guys that may be selling their bikes.
