WTB: spool for 10 bolt?

Does anyone make a FULL spool for a 7.5" 10 bolt?

i'm thinking of building a rearend for the track only, i have a few spare rears, and gear sets. i was thinking of just getting a straight spool and setting up a rear i would be willing to run drag radials on. id even throw a TA girdle on it. I will NOT risk my current rear, and i dont feel like droppign the coin for a 9" yet.

EDIT: ok i found that Motive has a mini spool for a 7.5 10 bolt, its $83 from summit racing. but i want a full one

if its temporary until you get a 9", why not settle for the mini spool for now? i remember reading a thread on tech about this and i dont think they make a full spool for the 7.5".

yea apparently they dont make full spools. most of the minis say "recommended for dirt track use only"

i posted up in the tech forums about my plans and j0n gave me a link that lead me to an axle brace ill eventually be gettign to help my current 10 bolt last a little longer, then ill feel safe enough to run drag radials.

Mini spools are not equivalent. Basically they are a tube that locks axles together inside the existing carrier. They are mostly for dirt track use and can't really stand up to the shock from drag racing.

i have seen one after it exploded that they mini and they welded it up as well - guy said he was happy with it 3 years of racing dont know how fast but its an idea - jz

lincoln lock- find someone with a stick welder and just burn the spider gears together..very cheap and reliable..been used on jeeps for years

don't bother doing the temporary change, save the 80-100 bucks and put it towards better 9" or 12bolt components. There is a good reason why you're not finding many options for the 10 bolt.
