new heads

Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I've posted but here we go. As some of you know I had a 383 LT1 built for my 93 Camaro. Besides the problems that R&L of Westwood threw at me for the motor build and the lame business end of the transaction, here is one more thing that was missied. I had thought the heads were going to be ported and polished etc etc to accomodate the heavy duty bottom end which was built. Turns out my heads are stock, aside from the high rev springs they installed. This sheds light to why my hp/tq dyno numbers aren't quite as breathtaking as I thought they may have been. So I took my stock heads and are having them ported and polished and increasing the ex/in. valves and having some roller rockers installed as well. Anyway, I wanted to change up my valve covers from the aftermarket ones I have now because there seemed to have been a crealance issue with the rocker arms. There is no room near the alternator for a taller valve cover (the alternator had to be ground a bit to fit the valve covers i have on now) so is there a relocation piece for the alternator that does not delete the power steering. Basically, is there something I can do to accomodate a taller valve cover or at least move or raise the alternator. Thanks guys. I'm installing the heads next weekend probably so any advice on that issue would be halpful.
